✨ This Blog Will Be Unabashedly Me – The First Note
Vanakkam and welcome!
This isn’t just a blog. This is my space—unfiltered, uncensored, and unapologetically grounded in everything I stand for: equity, education, empowerment.
I’m Dr. Anbu Arumugam, and if you’ve met me in a classroom, a conference, or through a 2 AM Instagram query—you already know that I don’t do anything halfway.
With nearly two decades of teaching and mentoring behind me, and a heart still beating with the same fire that made me pick up a drumstick by free-will, become a cricketer and choose Public Administration in college, I’ve worn many hats: drummer, cricketer, professor, researcher, mentor, reviewer, speaker—and yes, content creator when duty calls.
But beyond the designations, I’m a believer.
In public service.
In second chances.
In late bloomers.
And in the power of one question asked at the right time.
💬 Why This Blog?
Because Instagram stories vanish in 24 hours.
Because not every lecture can hold all my thoughts.
Because there are lessons that don’t fit into a PowerPoint slide.
This blog will be:
- A journal of my academic-mentorship life
- A behind-the-scenes look at UPSC and TNPSC prep
- A voice for those navigating studies, self-doubt, and system
- And most importantly: a mirror—held up to public life and policy
🎯 Unpolished. Unscripted. Unbending.
This blog will not be over-designed or “SEO-friendly.”
It will be real. Raw. Rooted.
Some posts will feel like a lecture, some like a rant, and some like a letter to a student I wish I’d met earlier.
So if you’re here for templates and motivational fluff—you might not stay long.
But if you’re here for truth, tough love, and transformative teaching—pull up a chair.
We have work to do.
